With newfound knowledge and confidence in the gym and a better understanding of nutrition, Danny is now taking his fitness journey to the next level. He’s tackling more challenging races, including Ironman events, proving that with dedication and the right support, he can achieve goals he once thought were out of reach.

 

For Danny, age is just a number, and he’s redefining what’s possible at this stage of his life.

JAN

Jan, 46, came to EXPT with a clear goal: to lose excess body fat and regain control over his health. Over 20 months of unwavering determination, he successfully shed 25 kg, transforming his body and improving his movement capacity. Despite dealing with ankylosing spondylitis, we tailored his training program to work around his condition, ensuring safe progress.

With weight training, Jan now stands taller, has less of a hunch, and experiences significantly less back pain. He even improved an old knee injury that doctors once thought might require surgery.

​

These days, Jan is out on the water, wakeboarding with newfound strength and confidence, fully enjoying his active lifestyle.

As a self-proclaimed foodie, managing his diet had always been a challenge, and he never fully understood how nutrition could enhance his results.

Fast forward 11 weeks, and he has transformed his physique, shedding unwanted body fat and building strength. He can now proudly complete 13 pull-ups, showcasing his improved fitness and dedication.

 

This journey has not only reshaped his body but also taught him how to balance his love for food with healthier eating habits, equipping him with the knowledge to maintain his progress and continue reaching for new goals.

By prioritizing sufficient protein intake and fueling his workouts with the right amount of carbohydrates, he transformed his physique and improved his overall health.

 

Khai currently trains to eat, and he absolutely loves durian — an understatement of epic proportions!

Brent was determined to get in the best shape of his life for his wedding. Despite a hectic work schedule that often had him traveling between countries, he adhered strictly to every expectation set for him.

Having never gymed the right way before and often facing injuries, Brent embraced a new approach to training laid out by his coach. With consistent resistance workouts, daily step goals, and long inclined walks, he pushed through and even managed to perform over 15 pull-ups. Now, with a solid understanding of proper training and nutrition, he achieved the best physique he’s ever had.

RYAN

Ryan, an anesthesiologist, wanted to lead by example and prove to his patients that he practices what he preaches. Although he had no prior experience in fitness, he brought a special quality to the table: consistency.

He committed to the process, training three times a week with resistance workouts. Additionally, he diligently worked on his cardio and incorporated pull-ups and push-ups into his routine.

​

As a result, he transformed his body and now enjoys not only playing Pokémon Go to keep fit but also capturing gains in the gym and competing in events like Hyrox.

Hendrik aimed to complete 5 pull-ups in 12 weeks, but he surpassed his goal, managing to achieve 10 in that timeframe—starting from zero!
